To learn what a background screening process is, we invite you to read our posts where we explain what these processes consist of.

It seeks to verify and review the background of candidates to protect the reputation of companies and strengthen their compliance levels.

A background check typically verifies that the information you have provided to your recruiter during the hiring process is correct.
It may also include public records checks, such as checks to confirm your identity or to reveal criminal history, adverse credit history, or adverse media coverage.
To find out exactly what your verification will cover before the process begins, talk to your recruiter.

Companies request checks that cover different time periods. A check can cover several years of address history, 5-10-15 years of employment history, and higher education qualifications, or it can simply cover your last job (if that's what your recruiter requested). To find out the full scope of your background check (before you begin), talk to your recruiter about it. They're best aware of the company's policies and can provide you with answers.

To prepare for your verification, make sure you have all required supporting documentation and information available.
This may include: your CV, a copy of your personal identification (DNI, NIE, passport, work permit, etc.), and anything else your recruiter has told you they might need to complete the process.
Please take your time to complete the information and check for errors before submitting to avoid unnecessary delays.

Once you have completed the application form following the instructions provided, you are ready for Background Spain to conduct the assessment. Once we have received your application, we will begin the verification process and report the results to your recruiter. In Europe, background checks are generally completed within 10 to 15 business days. The length of your background check will vary depending on your background, the countries where it is conducted, and the checks included in your recruiter's selection package.

The fastest way to pass a background check is to be honest, accurate and complete with the information you provide.
By providing all appropriate supporting documentation and responding promptly to any requests for additional information from GAT Group, you can help streamline your selection process.

If you have any questions about the status of your background check, you should contact the recruiter.
